About Harborne

Harborne is a thriving and prosperous Victorian suburb around 3 miles southwest of the city centre. There is a busy high street with a good mix of independent retailers and national brands, a Waitrose supermarket, Marks & Spencer, several pubs and restaurants including one which has been awarded a Michelin Star. Harborne Village is centred around St Peter’s Church and is one of the most desirable areas of Birmingham to live with house values at a premium.

About Edgbaston

EdgbastonEdgbaston has a well earned reputation for being one of the most upmarket and affluent parts of Birmingham with many larger detached family homes.  Located just south of the city centre, it is also the home of the University of Birmingham, Edgbaston Golf Club, Edgbaston Priory Tennis Club and the famous Edgbaston Cricket Ground.  Further places of interest include Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Arts and Crafts manor house; Winterbourne House and Gardens, community gardens; Martineau Gardens, Edgbaston Reservoir and Cannon Hill Park in which mac (Midlands Arts Centre) is based.  There are a number of private schools in Edgbaston, and both of Birmingham’s two Michelin starred restaurants are located within 2 miles.
